2-Story With MCFRS

 January 6, 2020

At 18:44hrs Engine 24 and Battalion 21 were sent on the MCFRS box for the reported residential structure fire in 4400 block of Parkwater Cove Ct. in deep Missouri City. Upon arrival of Engine 34 heavy fire was reported from the C side of a 2-story SFD. Upon arrival Engine 24 was assigned as the formal RIT and set about placing ground ladders on 3-sides and completing their walk around while Battalion 21 was assigned as Charlie Division. With heavy fire then coming through the roof, and an unstable chimney, all companies were pulled from the building and Ladder 31 placed their ladder pipe in service to knock down the heavy fire through most of the roof area. Following ladder pipe operations and knock on the fire crews hit hot spots and began overhaul. Following completion of assignments Engine 24 and Battalion 21 were released approximately 2-hours later. The cause of the fire and circumstances of another nearby incident are under investigation by the Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office and other agencies.
