At 12:59hrs Truck 22 and Battalion 21 were dispatched on the SLFD box for the reported house on fire in the 900 block of Sugar Mountain Ct. Upon arrival of SLFD FD2 a report of heavy fire on all floors of a 3-story SFD was given with Engine 2 ordered to initiate a blitz attack from the A side on arrival. Upon arrival of Truck 22 as 2nd due Truck Company position was taken on the A/B corner with the crew ascending the aerial for the hole. Due to the multiple attic spaces and knee walls concealing significant fire, upon completion of ventilation Truck 22 reported inside to Division 2 and Division 3 opening up as Battalion 21 was assigned Division A. With additional resources requested to the fire, and after going through 3-cylinders, the incident was placed under control. Following significant overhaul all units returned to service at 15:48hrs. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the SLFD Fire Marshal’s Office.
