FBCTRT Run For Rescue 22

 June 14, 2022

At 11:25hrs FBC Technical Rescue Team departments were requested to assist the Missouri City Fire Department with a male subject who had fallen 20′ in a large storage tank in the 6300 block of Oilfield Rd. Upon arrival MCFRS Engine 36 personnel accessed the patient and initiated patient care and packaging of the subject in a Stokes basket while Rescue 22 personnel positioned the apparatus for use as a high point, built their manual haul system and then lowered it to the rescuers in the open top tank. Following connection to the 4:1 system, safety checks being completed and repositioning of the boom, TRT personnel from Stafford, Missouri City and Richmond Fire Departments raised, rotated and lowered the subject into the care of FBCEMS as Tower 31 personnel provided an aerial vantage for monitoring the operation from above. Following completion of assignments all units returned to service. Total time from TRT request to in service was slightly over 1-hour.
