This afternoon the department lost a great person with the unexpected passing of Fire Fighter John Francis. Always a jovial person, John joined the department as a volunteer to help his community and grew into a reliable and hard working member of the department. Eventually growing into an apparatus driver, John took his responsibilities seriously and not only excelled, but was the cohesive bond for his crew. A dedicated family man John and his wife Kim dedicated themselves to their children and their community. Services for John are this Monday, September 25th at Sugar Grove Church of Christ located at 11600 W. Airport Blvd, Meadows Place, Texas 77477 beginning at 12:00pm.
