Rescue Box With MCFRS

At 16:12hrs Truck 21 and 2101 where added to the MCFRS Rescue Box in the area of US Highway 90 and Cravens Rd. for the MVA with entrapment, ejection and fire. Upon arrival of Ladder 32 a 4-vehicle accident was found with 1-vehicle heavily involved, 1-subject ejected and 1-subject trapped in another vehicle. Upon arrival of Truck 21 the assignment was given to assist Engine 33 with extrication of the triage red patient and 2101 assigned as the Extrication Group. With extrication ongoing an extra company was requested for the LZ bringing Engine 22 and starting back-ins for coverage. Upon completion of extrication, and with inclement weather rolling in, the aircraft was cancelled and FBC Medic 604 transported by ground to the Level I Trauma Center in the TMC and the incident placed under control. Upon completion of assignments, and with FBC Haz Mat on scene for fuel containment, all SFD units returned to service.
