Tanker 22 continues to operate as a single resource with TIFMAS in the panhandle of Texas. Having been deployed since August 1st personnel have been supporting operations based out of the Abilene, Texas area. Over the course of the last 3-weeks Tanker 22 has ranged across north Texas responding to multiple fires supporting local fire departments, Texas Forestry Service and out of state resources as the excessive fire danger continues to persist.
